One of the most varied landscapes in Europe
Few countries offer so many different landscapes in such a small area. Within a few hours you can travel from sandy beaches to deep canyons, from vast lakes to mountain peaks above 2,500 meters.
More than sixty percent of Montenegro consists of mountains and forests. This makes the country one of the greenest countries in Europe. In spring, entire mountain slopes are full of wildflowers, while in autumn the forests turn into a beautiful palette of red, yellow and orange.
Nature is also surprisingly well protected. Large parts of the country consist of national parks where flora and fauna have remained virtually untouched.

The Adriatic Sea
The Adriatic Sea is one of the cleanest in Europe. Due to the rocky bottom, the water is exceptionally clear in many places. On calm days you can see dozens of meters underwater.
This makes Montenegro a popular destination for snorkeling, diving, kayaking, SUPing and sailing. You can also often see schools of fish swimming in the clear water from the boulevard in Bar.
